Six Mile Strings are a group of close friends who are committed to expanding the string quartet repertoire in unique musical settings.
They specialize in performing and recording new classical music and creating original arrangements for artists of all genres.
Natalie is an artistic curator and collaborator. She has organized dynamic performances and unique concerts in DET / CHI that reach a wide range of audiences.
She is adept in cross-disciplinary performances meshing music, visuals, dance, and art, and is experienced in featuring the many skillsets artists possess.
Midtown Strings are a femme-powered musician collective focusing who have performed in live productions with likes of Michael Bublé, Josh Groban, Kygo, Evanescence, Lindsey Stirling, and many more current artists.
EDUCATOR & CHANGE MAKER
Natalie is a passionate educator with broad-ranging experiences in public and private school settings. She has worked as a full-time Director of Orchestras and as a teaching artist for programs in Detroit, Baltimore, Costa Rica, Chile, and other disempowered communities.
She focuses on new music education practices, musical and social leadership, collective composition, improvisation, and deep exploration of multiple genres in the orchestral setting.
MUSIC & MINDFULNESS
Natalie is always looking for ways to implement mindfulness in musical settings and bridge music and mental health.
She has completed training in RCYT and Yoga Nidra through My Vinyasa Practice and is currently completing training in Mindfulness Based Stress-Reduction (MBSR) through Shambhala Chicago.
